FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Is there anything new this year at Naturally Boulder Days?
Yes! There are four new features that will bring additional value and benefit to this year's attendees:
- Gala Awards Dinner on Opening night, September 2 and included in the conference fee.
- Lunch for everyone on the beautiful hotel patio, and included in the conference fee. (last year's lunch was optional at an extra fee).
- The Product Fair held in the afternoon. At the Fair, you can stroll through more than 50 booths, sample the products of conference sponsors, and see a range of valuable offerings from the different suppliers and companies who provide services to our industry.
- One-on-One Mentoring Sessions with the "Biz Doctors." This year, many of our most experienced and talented "leaders and legends" are making themselves available for 20-minute 1-on-1 sessions to talk to you personally about your business, goals and dreams. This unique service is found only at Naturally Boulder, and is available on a space-limited basis to conference attendees.
Are discounted registrations available?
Yes! Through July 15, attendees can register for only $199, a discount of more than 20% off the full price of $250. Naturally Boulder members pay only $179, an even bigger discount.
Are there extra fees or is everything included?
This year's conference is "all-inclusive." Your registration fee covers all conference events and meals, including both the Gala Awards Dinner on September 2, and lunch and cocktail reception on September 3. This is a change from last year, when some of the events were "a la carte" at an additional cost.
Isn't the conference expensive?
Naturally Boulder follows a "High-value-per-buck" model. The conference fee is substantially lower than other conferences in our industry, where the rate for each full day is generally $400 - 500. Naturally Boulder's full fee of $250 for the entire conference including 3 meals (and even lower for members and via the Earlybird Discount) is quite an excellent value - wouldn't you agree?
What happened to the "Starving Entrepreneur" discount fee?
This year we are offering a different discount program via the Earlybird Discount. At just $179 for Naturally Boulder members, it is only $14 higher than last year's "Starving Entrepreneur" rate, plus lunch is included, so the total package is a better value than last year and you don't have to write an essay! However, you need to make your conference registrations by July 15 in order to receive the discount.
What does Naturally Boulder do with the money?
Most of the money from registrations, sponsorships and such is used to cover the direct costs of the conference. A modest net profit will be used to fund everything else that Naturally Boulder does for the entire year to benefit our Natural Products community. Thus, the conference is actually a not-for-profit fundraiser, and the modest net income from the conference is vital to help Naturally Boulder provide value to all of us throughout the year.
Is Naturally Boulder unique?
There are several U.S. communities where natural products have a strong presence. However, the Boulder / Front Range area is the only community in America where everyone in Natural Products gathers together annually for sharing, learning and celebrating our mutual passion for sustainable livelihood. Additionally, our links with the City of Boulder and the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado have created the nation's only 3-way partnership in which an enlightened community, a nationally-ranked business school and our industry are joined in a unified initiative to benefit all of us. Finally, Naturally Boulder embraces an open, friendly culture where an extremely wide range of experiences and talents get together - from "newbies" still in college to wizened veterans. At Naturally Boulder, all are welcome and all are valued.
How do I join Naturally Boulder?

How can I help Naturally Boulder?
Volunteers are welcomed with open arms, and the NB "crew" has a very good time. As a not-for-profit organization benefitting the community, Naturally Boulder relies on volunteers contributing time and talent to help make our events happen. If you are interested in volunteering, just talk to anyone at the conference, come to one of our regular networking events, or send us an email using the "Contact Us" button on the Naturally Boulder website.
